today I readhttp://http://www.denverpost.com/ci_7158368 which has an ironic story of two americans serving in iraq. these two, a man and a woman met at a halloween party in a base in iraq and got married! I've heard of rough marrages, but being in totally separate batallions and living under war conditions is pretty harsh. I suppose that would give you motivation and make it easier to work even when your so far apart. but always wondering if the other was alright. hoping they are not in the hospital with one arm or one leg. i don't think i could live like that. Another thing that is ironic is they both grew up in colorado! And, they got transferred to the same unit and the man is in higher rank than the woman! So he gets to tell her what to do! that makes the marriage even more wild. i guess when you think about it, if you could survive a marriage while being in different locations constantly, not knowing if the other is dead, and having to take orders from the other you know that is true love

Recently i read http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7022081.stm about a new shot that can help fight cancer. That's awesome! a new study from Birmingham university says the shot targets the EBV virus infecting a cancer cell within the body.this matters greatly because it may obviously help those with cancer. Of coarse it does not necesarily cure it but enables the immune's response to the proteins within the tumoir to cure itself. how do they think of it? they tested it on humans with the virus and found success and are still conducting tests to prove the point. Our taxes are finaly paying off. although it is only a vaccine, this may be the path to the ultimate cure for the main killer in the US! that's a pretty cool thought.
